Chase’s life is at a crossroads… and the final night he spends in Three Rivers, the town he grew up and struggled in, he meets Katheryn, and they have an instant attraction to each other. But, before they can connect in any real way, they go their separate ways.
Years later, Chase has made a name for himself and completely reinvented who he was when he lived in Three Rivers. Returning as a favor to his family he immediately runs into Katheryn, and they seamlessly pick up where they left off.
But, nothing is as it seems in the quiet town, and being involved with each other may end up being more trouble than it’s worth…
I enjoyed this book. With a fair amount of suspense and a lost love type of feel, I was entertained throughout. I love that Kat does not care what the town thinks of Chase at all and she see’s him for who she knows he is. Chase has built himself up and made so much out of his career, and he never let the stigma of his childhood keep him down.
With a great plot, and some twists you don’t see coming, this book keeps you engrossed and entertained throughout.
